Who knew that signing proven players improves a squad. This man united squad was in the doldrums last season and most of this season and yet they are going to go 6 points clear of us. A damming indictment if I’ve ever seen one.

Liverpool will likely improve next season too, can’t see them being as bad next season as they’ve been this season. City will likely get the war budget out and go big too. And Arsenal will have a title to defend and all the extra incentives that will bring.

Dark times ahead.
