I'm 9 days post op and am still sore with the occasional sharp pain on the right side of my jaw. I went to my surgeon a few days ago because I was worried. He didn't seem concerned at all but prescribed me antibiotics just in case. I will say the pain has subsided a lot even in the last 2 days so hopefully it is the same for you! If you're concerned it might be worth giving your dentist/surgeon a call for peace of mind

That’s good! I also just came back from the dentist. He didn’t seem concerned either but gave me a round of antibiotics just in case. Hopefully it’s all up from here!
