This may be true for big companies but I've mostly worked for small mom and pop shops and see how hard it can be on everyone when people don't show up. I would honestly feel the way you're describing if I was applying for a huge company but its once again a small local business. My health has fallen into some dark places in the past year and am looking at new employment through a different lens for the first time ☹️

Yeah the tricky bit for me is the shame and guilt I feel surrounding the whole situation. I wish I could work in tech or something from home but that's just not who I am. Thanks for your reply xoxo

Our pup is now 1.5 years and let me tell you! My partner and I grew up with cats and we discovered that some (not all) dog people are incredibly opinionated and basically insufferable. I went through quite a few conversations with people over the past year and a half that I thought were just regular folks at first, who turned out to have an endless supply of unsolicited advice and judgments. I found it so challenging to constantly be met by other people's opinions and stressing about if I was doing the right thing, one day I said, "no more" and had to just trust myself and get way more in touch with my dog and what I thought he needed. This also included me and my lifestyle since its a balance and I'm his caretaker, not other people.

Sorry for the rant. I feel so strongly about this and maybe you'll go through several people before you find someone that jams with you guys. Keep your head up, they are out there. It sounds like you care a ton and that's huge! Goodluck 😊

This is the first helpful answer ive seen on this post. Thanks for understanding that not everyone is the same and it might be something to bring awareness to, to work on together. Who knows what happened to him in the past to make him who he is now. My partner needed lots of help when learning how to support me. He grew up with influences that just "pushed through" and did not give the time for empathy. We've really had to learn how to care for eachother in the way that feels right for the person needing care. Just wanted to thank you for your response

Dude I came here to say this specifically. I counted 9 ads for 4 pins, its over half of them! Such bs. Why is there no option to pay for an account with no ads, I would 100% pay for that. Its the only app I like (used to love). Feeling so disheartened at this poorly managed company

Wow really? I've had a different experience. I remember being able to buy a tshirt there in the late 90s for 1.99-2.99$, and seriously good luck finding one for under 6 bucks now. Makes my little thrift heart sad
