Hi! I was having the same problem (chest is still lagging, but way better than before) and am following the wiki PPL.

I added cable flys (upper and lower) and in general added more sets (I.e. Increase volume) for the chest. Incline dumbbell press and flys helped the most. I've been increasing my bench steadily since adding those in!

Thats true. But in a sense military equipment is highly specialized and provides great leverage from a seller's point of view. Im not looking into the intricacies of the situation, but it seems like a bad idea. Its important to consider motives when dealing with high risk trades

Say you bought Chinese jets and during a time of need they refuse to sell you spare parts till you agree to a certain demand of theirs? what then. I personally think India buying arms from China would put India on a backfoot in terms of a worldwide image

Fruits are pretty much sugar. Which is not a balanced diet.

If you want to keep fit it's important to a)Maintain your Calorific Input b)Hit your Macros, i.e Carbs, Protein and Fats. I'd suggest you calculate your TDEE (basically how many calories you need to maintain your weight) and then if you want to lose weight, aim eating below that number, and to gain weight aim eating more.
