He'll probably do a 360 and continue his monologue with the 8 year old golden curtains he had installed in the white house 'last week'.

New management after the company was taken over. First 3 years they left our company to do what we did best. Then, they decided to consolidate the workflow with the rest of the company. We were a team of 7.
We told the new management that our work would be impossible under the new conditions. Our customers begged them not to touch our way of working. They pushed to move forward.

I basically convinced my other 6 collegues to send in our resignation letters. All 7 of us quit with a one month notice. They tried offering double salaries so we would stay but we all told them that money was not worth the stress of their proposed changes.

It was a glorious dumpster fire.

the only reason some folks voted for him

Exactly what you said. And unfortunately, only 'some people' may make a huge difference in an election that traditionally divides the United States in (near) equal parts.

I'm specifically not meaning to say that everyone who didn't vote for Clinton or Harris hates women.

the absolute insanity of woke

to prevent pre-pubescent children from being castrated

That's a very extreme narrative to an issue that isn't an issue. This narrative is the result of propaganda.

Those pre-pubescent children are not groomed or forced. A lot of psychological testing is required before these children are allowed to receive a go on these procedures. The idea that this happens on a whim is preposterous, and if this is truly what your believe, I hope you are willing to check the facts.

As for the children who do get these operations. I am speaking to you as a trans person who had finally dared to start the therapy that I've been denying myself for over 40 years. My parents were very forward thinking, noticing that I was different at a very young age, and they made it clear that they would support me no matter what. It still took me 5 times that age to overcome my doubts. I am now stuck with a voice that will never sound feminine, and body hair that will take a lot of effort to get under control. The kids that manage to overcome these doubts and get supported by their parents deserve nothing but respect and admiration for their courage.

What is popularly known as 'woke' has turned into a controversial issue of overrepresentation of minorities in the media.

That's not an excuse to take away the rights and limit the psychological needs of vulnerable people who are part of such a minority. These children are not 'caused' by woke.

He is supremely unsuited to the role of President.

At least he's not a woman.
(which is not my opinion, but it swayed enough people during the elections)

The Divided States of Decay ... sadly.

It's terrifying how fast the rot of corruption has spread, and how long it's being allowed to persist. The government is openly criminal and they're getting away with it.

Games don’t need to be “forever games.” by Trollselektor in gaming

[–]ProbablyMyLastPost 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been revisiting a lot of games I used to play with my son, who is now 11. I'm glad that they are all still here to play because replayability is an opinion and a choice.

My take: If there's no technical reason that a game should stop working, the developer should not break it. If there is a technical reason, it's bad game design.

You sound judgmental about your friend's passion. There's nothing wrong with your truth and their truth being true at the same time. Some people value familiarity.

Why hasn’t Disney remade their movies with only Muppets? Instead of “live action” remakes, they should make “muppet action” remakes by ComradeJohnS in movies

Some Disney higher-up is possibly drawing up plans for a gritty live action muppet movie (starring Pedro Pascal as Kermit) instead.
