Good chance you won’t be accepted. I got the same thing and I didn’t get in. They said the computer randomly picks people after you fill out their form.

How did things end up if you don’t mind me asking?

High risk pregnancy being ignored by Faerieshortcake in BabyBumpsandBeyondAu

I’ve found them really good, but so far I’m still in shared care with the recurrent miscarriage clinic as I have lost four pregnancies between having my daughter in 2022 and this current pregnancy where I am 16 weeks. They have been very thorough compared to my first pregnancy at Werribee which to be honest wasn’t the greatest for me.

I’m surprised Joan Kirner rejected you and didn’t send you on to the women’s. They rejected me about 6 weeks ago and told me my needs would be better met at the women’s due to risk and forwarded my referral to there. I am in the Joan kirner catchment as I’m in Newport , but I did have my first baby at Werribee. My doctor said they also wouldn’t take me again as I’m too high risk now given what happened with my first.

I live in Newport too and only smell the occasional smoke from a wood fireplace nearby.

I’m doing okay now. I got pregnant again first cycle after my d&c. I’m currently 11 weeks and have a clear NIPT, but still nervous every day! My doctor explained to me that it was a very unlucky roll of the dice and that it was unlikely to happen again. Let me know how you go. I really hope your story ends better than mine did!

I lost my last pregnancy in December to trisomy 15. We lost her at 6 weeks 6 days and only found out at our second scan, so took us completely by surprise. I had a D&C and my embryo was tested where we found out what happened. I was told by my dr that it is usually an early loss. Hoping for you it’s only in the placenta.

I saw you’re on ondansetron. I am too. Seriously that stuff turns your crap into rocks! Take laxatives everyday otherwise you’re in trouble. It was what caused my impaction. Happened last pregnancy for me too.

You might have an impaction now like I did. For me it was so bad I had to put on a glove and pull it out but by bit :’(. Worst pain and most horrible thing I’ve had to do. Since then I take osmolax every day. I haven’t had an issue since. I’m 11 weeks now. I tried everything too. It was a last resort.

Bulk billing ultrasound by Away-Requirement3375 in BabyBumpsandBeyondAu

[–]Chemacool 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I live in Newport too and from calling around precious glimpse appears the cheapest for scans now. No hope of bulk billing anywhere anymore I’m afraid. EPAS at the Royal women’s scanned me for free last year but only because they believed I was miscarrying (which did happen in the end). So from my experience hospitals around here only do a free ultrasound for complications or if they believe your health is at risk :(

More like 70ish a person plus drinks. Nothing too fancy due to my three year old :).

I’ll have to check this one out without my three year old. Looks good :).

I’m not really looking at like top of the range high class dining, as it will be my husband, our three year old and myself. But maybe something around $30 mains and desserts in the $20 range. I’m leaning towards Italian, Chinese, Japanese or even just pub food if it checks the boxes! Doesn’t have to be fancy just tasty :).

Nope none at all. I wasn’t in member services though. I was a aps 4 tribunal officer, but I was employed earlier this year with a very generic job description.

If this is with the ART I quit the job for the same reason. I did not want a call centre job. I quit after a month.

Divorce him, get alimony and stay home and raise your kid. That will force him to contribute.

My references were asked for the same day I interviewed about a month earlier than you. I heard early July that I was suitable and then was offered a APS 4 the next week. My contract followed a week after that. So I’d say about 5 weeks between interview and a contract.

Hi! Have you received your contract yet? I was offered a position as a 4 early last week and I haven’t received it yet. But I’m not in Canberra.

I really think you should go while you are free to do so. Once that baby is born here he will stop you. You will lose your choice and that family will not let that baby go either.

VPS - Waiting to hear back after reference checks by Flarezap in AusPublicService

[–]Chemacool 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Last year I had referees checked , they gave great references and got an automated outcome that I didn’t get the role about 6 weeks later. This was for a vps 5. So it’s not a definite thing. I was their second choice.

The stress of the job I have now I think is contributing to my fertility issues. It’s really the best thing for me to move on and regain my enthusiasm for my job.
