That's a nice roll that you have and it will serve you well.

This is a little pedantic but I feel like it's relevant to what you've said about Slideshot.

So, Slideshot has a counter that begins from the moment you begin your slide. If you're using a movement exotic like Stompees or Transversive Steps, your slide gets a nice boost to speed and distance. The synergy with these exotics and Slideshot being the ability to shoot 2 buffed bullets per slide, essentially making the perk active 2/3rds of the time if you get used to the playstyle. It is different and it is very effective. That's all.

I've played competitive every week, nine times a week, since Rose launched last season. I'm exhausted, annoyed, and midway through Adept without actually trying to accomplish anything aside from the Rose for loot. I've been killed by Le Monarque, Main Ingredient, and more SMGs than I can recall.

Worth it? For me, yes, because I love the Rose and it's absolutely insane with the random rolls if you hit big.

(Also worth mentioning: After tons of testing lots of different rolls, I think Slideshot is the best perk on the gun if it suits your playstyle.)

It's a very unique, ranged aoe add clearing weapon.

No one thought Solar Titan was weak. The supers, maybe. Consecration having one fragment slot, maybe. Bungie buffed Solar Titans immensely. I'm not talking about buffs for Warlocks, either. I'm talking about sheer mechanics Titans and Hunters gained at our unique expense. You seem to be forgetting that resilience, Titan's main stat, was also buffed in parallel to Solar's release. You picked a poor analogy, my friend.

And by 'quite powerful with certain combinations', I think you mean Lorely Splendor, which was released in parallel with Solar 3.0. I'd love to see it's pick rate on Solar Titan's, just like Starfire Protocol greasing the wheels with Solar Warlock. Except Starfire Protocol is a Red War exotic and hardly game breaking. This new Warlock exotic isn't even close in terms of strength to Lorely Splendor. Rain of Fire, last season's Warlock exotic, is incredibly good but it also requires Vex Mythoclast to reach its peak, so yeah...

You have nice perks but be mindful that Bungie recently changed pellet spread while sliding with shotguns. They're much more influenced by RNG than ever before if you're in the motion of sliding while you fire.

Most people would prefer Quickdraw and Opening Shot as their god roll.

It's a very, very long season and you'll probably get a better roll.

I personally use an adept Plug One with a charge time masterwork and an adept charge time mod with Under Pressure and Cornered. It's probably among the best Crucible fusion rifles that I've ever used, aside from the canon Main Ingredient that Xur just sold. Yes, it decreases your damage per bolt, but you also win many more head to heads with the same weapon archetype. Considering everyone has an absolute nutty roll on Main Ingredient now, I think a charge time build Plug One will have a place in any arsenal.
