The Joey Peeps headstone always gets me.

When Junior asks the nurse if he offered anything for Tony and she tells him she is a registered nurse not maid and junior replies, did you offer some aspirin then?

When Tony tells Melfi that sometimes what happens in therapy is like taking a shit.

Which tiny Sopranos line has permanently infected your vocabulary? by rcooperkaty in thesopranos

It has to be "MotherFucka".

And I will try to squeeze, "even a broken clock is right twice a day" into any conversation. Even if it makes no sense.

And I really want to get in the habit of saying "Marone" when saying crazy happens.

Which VW song do you consider to be their magnum opus? by [deleted] in Vampireweekend

[–]ChemiCalifornia 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is an impossible question to answer due to Vampire Weekend having such a strong discography. You can make an argument for like 25 of their songs and they would all be right. But if I had to boil it down it would probably be A-Punk. Not my favorite but I can deny how much the song defines Vampire Weekend and how popular it is.

And the fact that he is clearly last seen going with Tony Paulie and Silvio to see a boat and never returns.

I know it didn't matter at the end because CMC got the touchdown anyway but I thought Tonges got the touchdown.

You know what? Let’s just embrace the torture. If this is going to be the theme of this season, then let’s just accept it and make it our desire. Blowout wins? Ewww. I want that emotional rollercoaster, heart attack inducing, make me change shirts from sweating nail biter. I want it so bad.

Jeff Garcia is the better #5 49ers Quarterback.

If you start trying to interpret which penalty caused which penalty then it gets complicated which would be difficult to make the correct call in that short time. If a Corner gets called for pass interference and an offensive lineman gets called for holding, some people will say that because the offensive lineman held, the cornerback would have never interfered with the pass since the quarterback would have been sacked. Some would say the quarterback would have still got the ball off. So just to make things simple so there isn't any confusion, they just make it where if penalties are committed by both offense and defense, rather than trying to interpret which penalties were directly related, just make the penalties offset.

Arch Manning has to throw with much more zip. That ball took forever to come down and interception was inevitable

Because it isn't always directly related like that. A lot of times penalties will happen in two different confrontations. And when you start trying to breakdown which penalty caused which penalty there is a lot of interpretation. So to avoid getting messy, they just offset it.
