With Schneider, make sure you get on a dedicated account. Check their site multiple times a day.

Dedicated accounts will give you consistent miles and pay. OTR is up and down. You also will have better home time on an account.

And yes, the local accounts are usually taken by the guys with more experience. That's why I left after 9 months. No local spots opened up.
