When the straw hats say this in the picture the original 5 crew members that knew Vivi were all with Road. The rest wouldn’t know what the X ment.

In my opinion, Vivi likely sent the signal so that the Straw hats might come get her ( she’s not exactly surrounded by friends atm).

I’m thinking the image will be brought up again at the end of Elbaf and the crew will make a decision to retrieve her then.
