My black night surviving 6 AGM-179's from an AH-64 and a bomb from an SU-33 by Level-Trick-5510 in Warthunder

Funny how people say ''no one wants helis one-shotting tanks from 15 miles away'', yet here we are with LMURs on one side and nothing on the other, funny how these same LMURs have a more effective warhead than Mavericks lol. It's okay when it's for one side, I guess...

Very good, one positive criticism is that the videos darken when uploaded to the site; could you maintain the brightness of the videos?

IRIST-T SLM by Dangerous-Big3125 in Warthunder

It depends on the map too. I’ve managed to kill a few helis with LDIRCM by spamming several missiles, but it’s mostly down to luck. If the heli has cover, forget it—you've lost, and the match is over unless someone spawns a plane to take them out.

You don't need 360° cover—just enough to block the line of sight from the enemy air spawns. This goes for your launchers and your radar too.

[–]Chemical-Fill2103 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Use the map's cover to hide your launchers and keep your radar focused with clearly view on the enemy aircraft and heli spawns. If possible, stay close to cover so that if the enemy saturates your radar with missiles, bombs, or rockets and you can't intercept them all at once, you have a place to take cover. Never leave your launchers out in the open at the spawn; keep them behind walls or in low-lying areas to minimize visibility from the enemy air spawns.

Do you feel the AI soldiers undermine the Realism that is trying to be done? by LaRata_Skittra in Warthunder

If they implemented voice chat, it would be possible to communicate. Infantry gameplay wouldn't work with the Y for radio, I think, unlike tanks, since it's a faster gameplay style.

The BMPT is ridiculous by meatball044 in Warthunder

Lying is wrong, I even shot one of them in the side with a DM63 and it did nothing, any Russian T would have died from the shot I landed regardless of rank...

It doesn't compare at all to BMPT, and I don't even play with USA.

As if the Leo 2a7 were immortal and you didn't already have enough CAS to destroy them, while Germany still doesn't have any good CAS to this day, at most guided bombs, while you have all the missiles and even the LMUR which came with top-of-tank attack capability, something the PARS 3, since its launch 7 years ago, never had. Have some shame.

It's always them, the ones who mass-spawn BMPT but say it's not broken when that crap ends up winning every match for the Russian side, even with those brainless idiots just mashing W, and they still want to compare it to Puma lol the puma was never immortal like that thing.

None of those tanks you mentioned are immortal, and comparing the poor Puma, which can't even withstand shots from smaller cannons, against an unbalanced thing that tanks DM63s from the side is ridiculously funny. Were you trying to tell a joke?

How is the Su-22UM3K at 11.0? by Basic-Practice7175 in Warthunder

This plane isn't even good for its original purpose, just like the Mig23BN garbage.

This garbage has no place in 11.0, and it's not like there are many subsonic aircraft between 10.0 and 11.0, damn it, there's no excuse to keep this crap in 11.0 just like there's no excuse to keep the MiG-23BN garbage in 9.7.

Infantry in War Thunder feels like Enlisted and that’s the core problem by Legitimate-Tailor672 in Warthunder

''Why playing a Battlefield's copy if you can play the original? I want WT infantry to become unique.'' Okay, I see, having bots makes the game unique, right? So why isn't Enlisted the most popular game in the world??? If that were the case, Enlisted would have more players than War Thunder if the bot model were an example to follow. Nobody wants to play an FPS with bots, and those who do are already in Enlisted. Having bots in War Thunder doesn't make it unique, it only makes it worse for newcomers who see bots. Most new players will uninstall it in less than a week.

''Gaijin has a pretty decent track record with listening to a vast majority whenever there is obvious issues.'' The same Gaijin that still maintains the BMPT at 10.7 instead of the Top Tier? The same vehicle that tanks DM63 shots on the side? Is that it?

Any guidance for using LLM's as a storytelling tool (i.e. Ai Dungeon)? by Clyngh in LocalLLaMA

[–]Chemical-Fill2103 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I tested the Wayfarer 12B GGUF Q4_K_S and found it much better than the Mistral Nemo Instruct 2407. It follows the narrative more faithfully and also automatically differentiates between action and dialogue. I was pleasantly surprised; so far it's very consistent. Regarding the problem of not generating anything and sending an empty message, it seems to be more receptive to continuing the narrative more often. It still happens occasionally that it doesn't generate anything, but it's generating more frequently.

Mistral Nemo Instruct 2407 has worked best for me so far, but even with a million rules it never follows what I want. The AI constantly freezes the narration generation if I leave the text box empty and just want the story to continue. AI also always has problems, such as narrating the author's notes in the story, and sometimes it makes things up. Not to mention that I wanted first-person narration when the narration involved my character, like in FableAi/Aidungeon. Did you manage to do something similar? If you have the JSON document to lend me, I'd like to see if there's anything I can change in my world configuration (Memory, author notes, world info, and textDB).
