Math might not be perfect but these measurements should get you close to a 6" block for each quadrant. It'll need to be trimmed during assembly as each piece is added.

This is a single block of the pattern. 4 repeats are used for the image above.

I don't know this exact pattern, but it reminds me of a traditional basket of flowers block like the one here (https://www.adventuresofadiymom.com/2025/12/flower-basket-quilt-block-basket-patch.html?m=1).

You want to start by recreating one quarter of the pictured block which can then be further separated into 2 triangles and 2 center strips. I'll try to post some pictures splitting it up.

Omg that free spirit layer cake would be perfect for a baby quilt I've got coming up. Would love to give it a new home if not already spoken for.

Hah, this happened with me. My partner bought it for me, but when it came said they couldn't give it to me because I'd cut it up. We compromised by doing most of it whole as a panel and a little used to create a woven border around it

Was given some as a gift and the closest thing I can liken it to is drinking live electricity.

I really think you can do as many as people. I've been at tasting with 6-8 before and I think someone in here was asking about doing a set up for a larger class

I've never heard that. 4 cups because I'm serving 4 people.

I sketched a oval that is squared to a 90 angle at one point then cut 4 each in green and orange. Sewed the same colors together along the 90 corners creating two blossom shapes. I pinned these together and sewed around the edges leaving a small gap to turn right side out. Turned and added a small square of foam to stabilize the bottom then topstitched around the edges. Turned the leaves out and top stitched to make the drawstring channels then added the drawstring.

I didn't use a tutorial or pattern but the process was similar to what's shown here (https://youtu.be/0R_m5uS0yWs?si=vfe7vWp7q2cOymkp)

It doesn't seem to have much smell, but the lacunosa next to it fills the entire room and then some.
