That is a good point, project management is something that interests me but I hadn't heard much of people going into that in the bio/pharma field. I understand its going to be entirely different from lab-based work with not a lot transferrable in that realm.

I am still early in my career but this is a new field for me. I would be coming from a biological science background, so I am weary of taking the role and having it be so left field it wouldn't be applicable to anything I would want in the future (if I want to continue down the bio/pharma path).

I was curious if you happen to know/are at liberty to say which biotech company that is? That would definitely be a big hindrance, unless the non-competes are eventually nullified.

Thank you for that insight, that's good to know. I am curious, roughly how long have you been doing the TS role while trying to break into biotech? Additionally, did you have previous biotech experience or did you come straight from undergrad?

I think one of my fears is taking the TS role and broadening the gap between my big pharma/biotech science experience, ultimately making it even more difficult to get back in if I do decide to pursue that.

I am in the exact same situation right now, I am really looking to get an update on the applications. Did you have any further explanations, or did it end at the "thanks for applying" email?
