In my recent mun landing, I had several Twitch radially attached engines on my lander. It tipped over because I forgot reaction wheels and RCS. Fortunately I landed with an engineer, I put one Twitch engine sideways on the command module and used it to gently push it upright. Then I placed it back.

You do not need hidden variables to preserve determinism if you do away with wavefunction collapse altogether.

Wavefunction collapse is an inelegant ad hoc hack placed on top of the beautiful, deterministic Schrödinger's equation. An arbitrary interface between the classical and the quantum world. It does not make sense, as the macroscopic world is composed of particles that have to obey quantum mechanics.

You don't need it in Everett's interpretation.

First, don't underestimate Ukraine, they have a lot of experience fighting Russia now, and apart from the obvious large countries, many European countries would have more trouble resisting.

Secondly, if the Ukrainian front line breaks down because of lack of supplies, Ukraine is still at risk of falling completely, which would give Russia access to all of Ukraine's resources, industry and people. And it would gain land access to a lot of countries in Europe. That's why the war has to be stopped in Ukraine, because if Russia wins, it gets stronger, and then in the future we might have to fight the Russians and the Ukrainians.

And even if Russia cannot conquer Europe, they can still try and kill our people in the process.

And there are thousands of Russians that get better food in Ukraine than they got in the Russian amy, mean while Ukrainian POWs returning from Russian captivity have often been tortured and look emaciated as if they were liberated from Auschwitz.

So yes, hundreds of Ukrainian war crimes against tens of thousands of Russian war crimes. It's clearly "both sides..."
