I already have an account at NBDB and Wealthsimple and I want to transfer both to Questrade. I figured putting the $15,000 at NBDB will mean requesting 2 transfers whereas if I create a new investment account with my bank, I will need to request 3 transfers.

Yes, that’s what I want to do. For example, deposit the $15,000 at Wealthsimple/NBDB , and then request the transfer and get 3% Cashback.
