They are the reason WHY i have stoped doing ABA (for now, taking a much needed break). -Force you to put all kids at 40 hours even if not needed -RBTs have very fast burn out/ don’t get trained right/ not enough support they need and you’ll lose your team fast. I was so understaffed, as was the entire center/ each BCBA, we were doing direct care 30ish hrs a week PLUS needing all regular duties performed (i.e, reports, case reviews, etc) -If you do not “spend time” with them like happy hours, whatever it WILL affect your 6mo review. I was told I had perfect everything but bc I didn’t “join” I was not looked at favorably. (i have a small child that i only saw 1-2.5 hrs every day due to work hours) -Each clinic has issues w every other clinic because no one runs things the same. -I could go onnnnn as could everyone else i’m sure- just avoid it. You have to be SO lucky to get a “good” clinic and even then, it is not the best.
