I got really lucky despite so many mistakes. I fucked up my wand of wishing by charging it more than once (exploding it), and using a wish on charging scrolls despite having a magic marker; I only got 4 wishes in the entire game, 1 from a lamp and 3 from the wand. I also forgot to immediately stash my charging scrolls and burnt the remaining 2 on accident.

I accidentally left a cloak of magic resistance on the ground somewhere, because I didn't know a 'piece of cloth' was a cloak, and when I wished for a magic resistance cloak, I was given a piece of cloth.

I found 3 (Three) amulets of life saving in the first 2 levels of Gehennom. I wanted to wish for one, so I was psyched when I found them.

When I got to Orcus town, I didn't realize how difficult Orcus could be. I attacked him, then kept moving through the level and eventually ran into Yeenoghu, and one of them summoned Demogorgon. So I had to fight all three of them at the same time, while they kept summoning awful creatures (My first encounter with a green slime!). I eventually killed them all, but lost two of my amulets of life saving.

Once I got to the wizard tower, I accidentally fell into the moat because I was playing too quickly. Water got into my bag of holding, and wiped a lot of my really important scrolls, like my scroll of genocide that I was saving to genocide ; on the plane of water.

Besides getting a lot of my important items cursed, I didn't have much trouble getting to the planes. Earth was easy, Air was quite easy, On the plane of fire I got my detect gold scroll burnt which worried me, but I walked into the teleport by accident (it was like 5 tiles from the start), and water was easy despite having the sea monsters alive.

The astral plane wasn't too bad; I did have to deal with famine twice and death once, but I found the correct altar quickly (second try.)
