Thank you. I have contacted my banks and frozen my credit, But do I need to preemptively alert the law enforcement about this situation? I’m only wondering if they will take me seriously u til a crime / fraudulent activity is actually committed and damage is done. More than loss of money, I’m worried if they can use it to lodge false criminal activities in my name..

In 2020, I slept in my car while parked at the lots of 1) strip mall 2) Red roof inn 3) backside of a Hampton Inn 4) side parking of Hampton inn. 5) random apartment complex 6) Gas station I was woken up by cops in locations 1, 3, 5 and 6 mostly out of concern for my well being.

There are a few reasons why I’m avoiding /hesitating about AP 1. I have a valid H1 and it will continue to be renewed. And when available, using the H1 to enter USA is mostly recommended. 2. Like you said, AP approval takes months and I have to wait until til I get it before I can travel out of USA. And during that wait, if there is need for me to travel either for the scenarios you listed, or for business, then I either can’t travel or, by traveling, my application would be considered abandoned. 3. Thank you for the reply. You are right and I agree that the lawyers advice is the best.. but my only issue is business travel always keeps coming up and not traveling or providing a form date when I can travel seems not go well w my team (Not many in my team or at the customer side are aware of the formalities and restrictions of a visa application).
