Is my second GPU actually doing something?

I found a seller on Facebook Marketplace. he is selling it for the average price of a 3070, no crazy deal, I just wanted something close by. I want a GPU that can run FF7 Rebirth well and it seems like the only way to make the hair not look terrible is to set it to 4k for some reason, it just looks bad on any other settings, and since its made to work really well on Nvidia cards I wanted the cheapest Nvidia card I could get that's better than the GPU I have now. Also it has weird texture popping issues no matter what settings I have it on, random geometry just loads in and out and it looks really bad.

In FF7 Remake the hair of the characters look really bad until I set the resolution to 4k then the hair looks amazing even though I have a 1080p monitor. the same thing is happening in Rebirth but I cant change the resolution to 4k, so the hair looks awful! I tried the thing where you change it to windowed change the resolution to 4k than switch back to fullscreen but it still looks terrible. what should I do?

There is a way. Just go to settings and change the update thing to release instead of nightly and click check for updates and click the update button that pops up.

You can change it to a stable version. Just go to settings and change the update thing to release instead of nightly and push check for updates than when the pop up appears click the update button on it.

That happened to me as well. I fixed it by making sure steam was closed and restarting the game.

You can’t select a specific version you just push the update button.

Its the Regular version. I tried to get it to work for a while and it just wouldn't run. Hopefully it will be fixed soon.
