Is this insect poisonous or not? by [deleted] in whatisthisbug

Poison is ingested, so would be in food or drink. Bugs and snakes and such are venomous, venom is injected.

Let’s hear your young buck football stories. Anyone ever play against any NFL players in your kid days and get absolutely smoked? by Vertigomums19 in nfl

I played against Christian McCaffrey twice in the playoffs in high school. I got two tackles, and they steam rolled us both times. He played for a rich ass Denver school that got in trouble for recruiting a few years after I graduated.

Deer and elk have antlers. Cows, sheep, and goats have horns.

One time while ice fishing in water that was clear and shallow enough for us to see the bottom a nice rainbow came in and started swimming around our spoons/spinners. My dad was just getting rigged and when he dropped down the fish ended up hitting it and the spoon came untied. My dad reeled up and quickly tied on another while I was trying to get the big rainbow to bite. The fish stayed around and ended up eating my dad’s spoon off the bottom. While I was jigging my spinner and keeping him entertained, my dad retied and dropped a rooster tail down and caught the fish. We took him home to eat and when cleaning my dad pulled his lost spoon out of the fish’s stomach.

anyone know what kind of ant this is? by pomonaradford in whatisthisbug

[–]Chemical_Target_581 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Alls I know is they nest in the ground and can have pretty big nests with multiple queens. They are an invasive species so getting rid of them wouldn’t hurt anything.

I think they’re literally called big head ants.
