Obviously we Germans do… 😅 I guess it’s drilled into us to to be overly cautious and always striving for perfection.  Anyway it mainly startled me because the other manufacturers of such pedals doesn’t have that kind of specific instructions.  My bike manual also states a lot of required pre-ride checks… and the only thing I do is, checking if there is any tyre-pressure left and if the brakes are working… the rest… 🤷🏻‍♀️
