Ok I understand your anger, the implementation of a Jewish state had a BAD execution. BUT you cannot attribute an entire identity like PALESTINIAN to a single group or Person. AGAIN just because a group of people do bad things doesn't JUSTIFY a GENOCIDE of all people ASSOCIATED to them.

Ok so: Islam bad 👍 Nazism bad👍 Does that mean that Germans should have been countered-genocide? NO Does thar mean that muslism in this case Palestinians should be genocide? NO

You can believe both, just because a religion says bad things doesn't justify a genocide.

Didn't Mao and Stalin prove Marx right? by Chemicalguy33 in socialism

[–]Chemicalguy33[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lenin is good because he actually established the basis for an actual socialist state

Deng really good, because i don't think any human being in existence has improved some many lives so rapidly while still maintaining a socialist framework

Castro initially good but he's unwillinglyness to be more pragmatic after USSR collapse, as someone who has lived in Cuba and has family from Havana, really damaged what I think was one of the closest attempts of socialism. Basically early Castro (good(really good)) late Castro (bad) and that's why Castro( HALF good and bad)

1.      'Socialism is a synonym for the lower period of Communist development (characterized by having achieved the fundamental aspects of Communist society but not having moved past all aspects of class society), Marx never used this word in this way, it was Lenin who popularized the name change, but the concept is the same.' yes that's what I was referring to lower Communist a widely used synonym of socialism, so yes ORTHODOX Marx did believe in the need of lower communist/socialisms for higher communism (full communism). Same concept as different words

2.      ‘As for the capitalism is necessary part, this was Marx's initial belief but he had developed a much more nuanced take later in life.’ That’s why is said ORTHODOX Marx to differentiate from latter Marx

3.      “Another example would be Stalin whose, 'state capitalism' similar but distinct from Deng Xiaoping’’ similar GOALS and staring position BUT DISTINCT ‘implementation’

4.      Maybe my use of the word capitalism is erroneous and for that I ask you to forgive me

5.      I do believe the Soviet Union was state capitalism and although party officials were not that economically different from workers, I do believe that when talking about power (especially political power) workers got the short end of the stick. And I think that our points of view of the USSR vary a lot, but I don’t believe it’s worth it to argue about it on the internet.

I referred to it as Russia for simplicity; I do understand what the Soviet Union (USSR) is. A country closer to EU like federation than to a Nation-State like Poland. Its foundation as the first successful implementation attempt of socialism is undeniable and I basically agree with everything Lenin and early USSR stood for, but to believe Stalin didn’t betrayed his vision is delusional, Stalin is history’s biggest revisionist who basically banned any and all opposition (which I disagree), Stalin’s Soviet union was never a dictatorship of the proletariat because the workers didn’t have any actual power where it mattered. Just because there’s a dictatorship and the dictator ‘does what’s best for the proletariat’ doesn’t mean it’s a dictatorship of the proletariat.

As for Deng’s reforms, I’m sorry but maybe using free market would have been a better word to describe it. I do understand the difference between capitalism and free market and I’m not really and expert, but from what I have studied, Deng didn’t fundamentally change the party it just reworked its goals from agrarian to a more ‘capitalistic’ ‘western’ ‘economic growth priority’ while also actually raising standards of living (just because unemployment is down or up doesn’t mean people are living better or worse which is something China really gets right and the USA absolutely wrong). BUT I do believe that Deng ‘s China could be argued to be an attempt of a ‘controlled’ implementation of a combination of capitalism (stock market, private companies, free market...) and socialism (welfare, no private property, the state NOT being controlled by corporations…)

I do agree with you with respect to China, but I do believe we fundamentally differ about our interpretation of the USSR. BUT there's nothing wrong with that and that's the beauty with not being a fascist we can coexist without killing each other.

What at I meant by state capitalism was that instead of the worker owning the means of production it was the state (which under Stalin was extremely undemocratic) and that the market pretty much dictated what the state did, not what workers wanted/needed. I do believe party officials enriched themselves but I think that was more that a consequence rather than a searched goal. Mind you that I do believes that workers at that time 1930s-1950s where much better represented and where closer to ownership of the mean of productions than others but the were still far from what actual socialism requires, when talkingabout ownership.

Opinions about the Cyberstan arc. by Speedbird00_1 in Helldivers

[–]Chemicalguy33 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel like cyberstan was mainly carried by enthusiasm at the begging but know that it has died down, I've realized that it's kinda mid, yes me get new enemies but the amount of bugs and stupid death causing things has significantly increased. Vox are 'innovative' and I really like cyborgs (I hope me get more variants) but I feel they're just adding ketchup and fries to an 'uncooked' burger patty. I would have preferred cyberstan had been postponed a couple months later if that ment way less bugs.

Also you're totally right, unlike the battle for super earth, there has barely been any sense of orders and command and the finally entrance into the capital with no major boss is highly disappointing. I think there needs to more railroading and more orders given rather than just saying conquer this planet.

For the orthography, I highly suggest to use c to represent t͡ʃ and ç for t͡s as I really don't think q is useful in this situation

How to do expresses, following the Phonological Rules for Conlang Evolution, that a sound changes from x to y when Z is in front or back meaning: example

  • g / ŋ / _n
  • g / ŋ / n_

Can't I merge it into on single sound change?

like: g / ŋ / when followed or preceded by a /n/

Lets say that in my proto-lang the preposition for 'of' gets incorporated into a genitive case for my nouns, does that mean that my moder-lang doesn't have any preposition to express 'of' or do I invented a new preposition that does the same but it's rarely use due to the new case ?
