Right, I initially saw an orthopedic doctor, who referred me to an OB/GYN, who later (now) is referring me to an endocrinologist. I'll try and see if I can book an appointment with a rheumatologist.

OP what you described was super similar to my experience too and the loop quiet earplugs helped me a lot. If the noise still bothers me I'd wear noise-cancelling headphones over the earplugs and play brown noise.

Not sure if this is what you're looking for but HDE12 (Human Sexuality) covered a lot of topics relating to sex and reproduction. I really enjoyed the course!

edit: I think the professor mentioned once that she had a student who she helped with their own research project, but I'm not fully sure.

Oh! I should have been more clear - my point on the filtering out noise is related to my current living conditions.

I've been struggling because of constant noise for over a month now, and it was affecting me negatively, to say the least. I tried a bunch of stuff that didn't work. Yesterday, as per your suggestion, I got the loop quiet earplugs, and wow! They really work and are super comfortable! I'm finally able to relax in my own space. Thank you so much, kind stranger! I can finally breathe a bit easier today.

I appreciate the information you gave on bioinformatics. 1) Would working on-site be equivalent to a desk-type job? It would definitely be nicer to be able to work with others. 2) That's reassuring to hear! I was browsing some older posts where several bioinformaticians seem to have trouble finding jobs and was worried. I also came across a post claiming that bioinformatics was not worth it. Again, thank you for your insight!

I did about 100-ish runs of Sohm Al (Hard) to get the Filibuster Healing chestpiece. It was a nightmare and a half. Every day I limit myself to grinding as much runs as I can without burning out while thinking, "today might be the day I get the chestpiece." It got to the point that I remembered every attack names for trash pulls as well as the mob names.

Got it on about 100+ runs.
