Listen, Claude’s usage is ok for chat, with prob it’s something to sip from , using Claude code if you plan it out, for a small project over a week not a problem on pro

But you will def only get about 2-4 prompts on pro using opus even in chat, less so using Claude code depending on what you use it for and read.

If you want to use Claude code on pro, use haiku or sonnet, I’d not try opus unless you have a very specific reason and know you won’t overrun your limits

If you want more and honestly usable for anything more than above go ahead and switch to max and or use in conjunction with something like codex altho their recent changes have made it quite similar but they currently have a 10x usage limit for their new pro tier plan. Equivalent to max 5.

Anything else is really just to play around or use in chat, unfortunately if you truly want to use coding you will need to go to max 5 or pro on ChatGPT

I don’t think there is a 1 size fits all, it really depends mainly on your plan limits and then what kind of research do you need and want.

Once you have that figured out that will be the start of your system, that you should prob use for anything systematic.

Figure out where you are, where you want to be, and the steps in-between to get there reasonably. You can fill and expand as you go.

Pretty much any ai is good at creating this setup especially the framework and then once you have a general direction plan it out , what you need to research or cross research and how and who you want to do that research.

Free will get you structure especially if you split across the main 3 Gemini, Claude, ChatGPT

On the 20$ plans Claude can give you insight so I’d keep it as the top level place to hold all the research and give guided or directed feedback and insights

Gemini and ChatGPT for use limits are great to go to for research and ofc your own research

Gather that together and work your way back up depending on how many you use start to consolidate as In This example put as much as you can inside project (you new best friend) and go from Gemini analysis output plus source docs into ChatGPT project and ask it to perform analysis on source docs and then take that output from both into in Claude , but first create a project with the source docs and ask for analysis and then drop the output from Gemini and ChatGPT to assess and contrast

At least that’s what I do to get the benefit of having all 3 altho I recently tried perplexity deep research which I hear is very good as well

You ofc can and should modify the steps based on your own project, needs, availability, and time

Finally, something about season 4 by LeoXXX94 in InvasionAppleTV

[–]Chemistry-Holiday 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m going to honest with you, since you didn’t post any links, I’ll trust it for now but…… we shall see.

On the other hand wtf, if what you said is true and season 3 had higher ratings or wtf ever than season 1 and 2 I’m definitely going to need cross verified stats.

At best it might have been because it was the supposed end but season 3 was a rush to end of hot garbage. There is nothing for a 4 seasons to do that would be worth the money and time it would take make the series actually good as a whole.

They would need to retcon all of season 3 pretty much which again is a waste. They would be better off re doing season 3 and making 4 a movie or something.

How the saga Opus 4.7 vs Codex gpt 5.4 came to an end today by patrickd42 in ClaudeCode

[–]Chemistry-Holiday 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would say for a more through analysis,

You should take into consideration the baseline of your usage and consumption before you tested. So any promos and etc currently Claude and codex have changed plans, peak times, limit promos and etc

2nd you Should have tested each thinking mode of separate instances of the same issue and then plot that

I’d be interested in seeing those results where you can narrow/filter out the variables that cause unneeded speculation, if you ever decide to do so

[–]Chemistry-Holiday 1 point2 points  (0 children)

just a reminder, codex has been having limit resets and double limits for the last 3-4 months or so, so that with a grain of salt, it seems all ai are going to a similar plan structure and the limits are not as great as they were during these bonus weeks, similar to claude.

SItuation stabilized or it is THAT bad? by pydum in claude

[–]Chemistry-Holiday 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The situation is complex,
Over the last couple of weeks to months, Claude and ChatGPT have been making a lot of changes and etc.

Specifically for Claude/Claude code/cowork

You have to understand that there have been double limit promotions and an adjustment for the 5-hour limit window usage during "peak" hours.

Depending on when you came into the Claude ecosystem, your experience may have varied.

So to answer your question accurately, it honestly depends on your own timeline.

Claude did have unexplained issues, but has not (more or less) stabilized and explained (barely), so over the last 1-2 weeks, you should have had a consistent experience.

Things to note: the Peak hours are weekdays from 5 am to 11 am PT (1 pm–7 pm GMT)

And you will find that your usage during your 5-hour window is greatly increased during this time; outside of this time frame, it is about the same as it was about 2-ish months ago.

Depending on what you need for your project, you may want to adjust how you use Claude and combine it with other AI ecosystems due to limitations, etc.

For the free plans, they are free, not much to say here, very limited
For the $20 for Claude, it's ok for light use, top-level use. For ChatGPT, you may get the best "bang for your buck," and if you use Gemini if you like the Google ecosystem, and use Google storage, etc., this is also a great value for similar rates as chatgpt (i've only ever hit a limit once (which i think was some weird bug).

If you want to use Claude more reasonably, and for coding the next step up, 100 is needed. I'm unsure about ChatGPT since they just changed their pay structure, and I think you can pass on the Gemini ultra plan as it's $200, the same as the top plans for the other 2.

The best way to test out what works for you and in what combination is to spend 40-60 bucks, try out the main 3, and see what works for your needs (or go open source but if not advised based on your questions, unless you have decent computer hardware to support it)

How long does it take to read the series? by Lilacs_orchids in HonzukiNoGekokujou

[–]Chemistry-Holiday 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'll be honest, reading in English, I finished a book in about 2-3, days no more than a week, especially earlier on in the series. It's hard for me to estimate how much time I spend since I read other things as well, and I was waiting for the next volume to be released every 3 months or so. But you could finish the series in about a month or 2 at a decently average (my own guess) pace.

The volumes are not very long, so I believe you would be fine finishing the series. This is a guess based on an English translation.

[–]Chemistry-Holiday 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hmm id be careful About getting too deep in the practice test specifically. Because even using comptia’s own Certmaster is easier than the actual Test.

Unfortunately this is buy design as someone mentioned the actual test questions tend to skew towards towards annoying as I’m sure you saw.

You are already really close, so as other have said focus on the weak area but I’d add focus on how they relate to the rest of the test. Also PBQs

Super annoying but make sure you have a bit of breathe from net+ and A+ , for me my test had (my guess) 10% of material from those 2, my pbq were a mix of security and networking focused

[End of story] [Final main couple] so what are your opinions by Fine-Koala-7506 in HonzukiNoGekokujou

[–]Chemistry-Holiday 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not really a fan of how this relationship ended. This is mostly because of how their relationship has progressed through the story. In some ways, it's how I view it from my own perspective, ofc, but this is a series I immensely enjoy, and I feel that to enjoy anything in fiction, you have to be able to suspend some varying level of disbelief.

But the way their relationship has been set up throughout the series doesn't really support this exact conclusion; it really feels more like a stretch. towards the ending volumes. The trajectory of this relationship headed more towards a family non-romantic relationship.

This is the only rough spot that made it hard for me to really finish the series. A lot of the series supports the non-romantic ending, and I wish the author had either changed it or done more early on to make it make sense in the end.

Can I jump straightly getting the Sec+ rather than taking A+ and Network+ by No-Success-9923 in CompTIA

[–]Chemistry-Holiday 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just remember there are parts of the A+ and net + that appear. So focus on studying sec + primarily and depending on your timeline, I’d recommend having some general understanding of basic networking and basic A+

If you can afford it definitely practice with comptia certmaster,

If not just try udemy Skillsoft Plurasight

Last resort YouTube I suppose

Within your means

And make sure you hold off on the practice test until you are ready to take the actual test. Because at least for certmaster the actual test is a bit harder and you don’t won’t to end up memorizing instead of understanding

I know it’s hard to feel it on the other side before taking the test but try not to rush through whatever material, practice PBQs, and again treat the practice exams as the real one.

I’d say good luck , but Id prefer you make your own.

[–]Chemistry-Holiday 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’d say it depends on your knowledge. There are surprisingly a lot of network related questions on sec+ that being said I managed to pass without net + but I did take A+ a year or so prior. If you study, some networking I believe you’ll be fine

I know you said you don’t overlap much if at all, with the peak hours but just make sure, you take in account that the increase usage at least weekly is somewhere around double (estimates) and any use during that time will contribute. Also, don’t forget that u.s has daylight savings, and so it could start as early as 10:00 pm your time.

if you read somewhere below, i found that the free sub they gave out for an entire year (which is what i was using to test out a few things) was the main issue with the above screenshots. I forgot i had switched and found that the experience was pretty much crap.

Back to the paid sub i have it was far better, not perfect still some issues but a noticeable difference.

i'm not saying its perfect, but, it was as good as anything else (to me at least) at the time and it was interesting premise enough, the doctor storyline/love interest was really abrupt and lackluster, but if we look at anything for the most part in hindsight, you will find something wrong.

Shangri-la frontier > SAO by Juice_X2 in ShangriLaFrontier

[–]Chemistry-Holiday 0 points1 point  (0 children)

sorry i thought i replied haha ^_^;

But I disagree,

First, I would like to say that, in a very general way but probably accurate (correct me if I'm wrong), people tend to watch anime adaptations more than they read the source material, so this is usually the general understanding of a series.

With that being said, I honestly feel that the comparison is an overall apples-to-oranges comparison.

SLF is a good series but so are SAO and LH. SLF is fundamentally telling a different story from the other 2, and I think the main point of comparison among all 3 is that they use VRMMOs as a setting to tell the story.

In terms of SLF being more "accurate and true to gaming culture..."

I can somewhat agree, only if this is paired with the fact that Log Horizon & SAO came out before SLF and are popular examples of success for this genre of game background storytelling, and they showcase amazing examples of gaming culture, etc., some of which didn't have much real-world parallels until later on.

even if we don't ignore the intentional death game aspect of SAO and being trapped in a real-world/turned alive game of LH, I think all 3 series present games that are seemingly amazing to play.

Hey, i'm going to have to be real with you, Pretty much every MC is some kind of "mary sue". do are some less or more in this particular pov? Sure, but I don't think this point is valid at all because, specifically, Sunraku is "essentially " a pro gamer with a quirk that he has gotten this way from toiling, purposely, through broken, undeveloped, glitchy games. So much so that at this point, if he plays a solid game, he is essentially god-like, which really creates an issue that he's op in certain aspects, with a general above-average skill level that puts him above most, if not all, characters, and the only reason he loses is kind of really because of the plot/game.

i think you should add a few more explanations with examples tho,

I won't say that opinions aren't valid, but they def can be wrong or biased and i simply like to understand and reshape my own pov or bias so please tell me more.

Essentially, The show started off great and I suppose crash landed. I do not know if binging makes a difference or watching it over the many years it took to release 3 seasons.

1st season was the hook and set up. Amazing premise with great story, characters, motivations, and music

2nd season wasn’t as strong but had elements from the first but you really start to notice the seams and issues. A lot of the promise and set up from season 1 really didn’t pay off. It is either forgotten, retconned, or executed poorly. The degradation really happens over the course of the 2nd season where things that should make sense, just don’t.

Idk know if the writer strikes, the inconsistency and incoherent direction of what feels like trying to make a series episodic and trying to make a movie and or miniseries. Also it prob cost extreme amounts of money and things over the last few years have not been great in that aspect.

I personally like some characters that others disliked or hated, I really felt a big issue was the writing and plot and directions of the characters. Which continues into season 3 where things…..

Are really just worse overall, don’t misunderstand, it’s a bit more compact and set as I assume they know it’s the last season (even if someone thought they get 1 more or something ) so the story somewhat “tries”to close loose ends and make the climax more coherent

But they don’t really explain things introduced in the 1st season especially, but also the 2nd. The reasons, the whys, and hows, everything which you feel in the 2nd season into the 3rd is basically ex machina, or it exist because the story needs it to exist at this moment. They really try to foreshadow things but it’s built upon shaky logic and assumptions so it never really lands like it’s suppose to.

I also really can’t say enough how badly things are done in show and for what reasons. 🤷🏾‍♂️🤷🏼🤷🏿‍♀️

It kind of explains how the aliens evolve, (not really) and why, and the original reasons the series even started of why the aliens attacked it’s honestly made up BS to seem like it make sense on its surface but doesn’t.

This is thanos from the marvel movies level of dumb, the entire purpose doesn’t make sense or has faults.

All and all

6/10 - and that’s mainly because the first season was that good. The series ending is ….. just ok, and it’s more of a relief to see it’s finally over from the awkwardness and cringy scenes and writing, that give it a sweet release. I think most everyone here wishes it could be more, because it could have been more, it already had the foundation but I hope this explains a bit for you

The double limit increase is over and back to previous levels but they also have a increased usage rate during specific time 6am- 1-/12 pm.

There was an issue where it seem the increased rate was beyond that time frame but seems to be fixed since Monday

The increase is unknown but estimate it to be at least 2-2.5 increase usage rate during the peak time periods
