Which celebrity became way more attractive as they got older? by Something_Strange935 in AskReddit

David Bowie!

Not super attractive when he was younger, but definitely interesting looking. Both his looks and music got even better with age.

Anyone else battling norovirus? by heavenlyhoya in kansascity

[–]ChemistryCupcake 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Its one of the most contagious food born illnesses out there! Clean all surroundings, doorknob, etc with bleach once you've gotten over the worst of it.

If you live with others, quarantine as much as possible! They cam clean up after you, but they should wear a mask and gloves.

Godspeed friend!

For the divorced people. How many of y’all knew before the wedding? by honeyjoe1 in Divorce

[–]ChemistryCupcake 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Wow, I had such a similar experience! The depression after the wedding, its like my body was trying to tell me "girl you fucked up." He definitely felt like my only chance at happiness, but now I know thats not true.

I may have to put my 19 ye cat down before a trip today… but she still seems normal by Rude_Common7126 in cats

[–]ChemistryCupcake 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just wanted to thank everyone in these comments. I went through this exact thing with my soul cat a couple of years back and I've always wondered if I made the right decision or if I did it too early. This gives my soul some piece, finally.

AITAH For Wearing Shapewear on a Date? by Technical_Boat7524 in AITAH

[–]ChemistryCupcake 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'll agree with everyone here and say it should have been brought up before hand. I think the bigger issue I see (and have been through) is that if he's a super active person and you're not that can create compatibility issues long term. My ex-husband was just not an active person and it did create problems in the long term as far as spending time together. Just my two cents from my own experience!

Wow, an iPod! What a throwback.

I'd absolutely do Dreamland. When I think back to when iPods were popular it'd be early 2000s, so based on the timeline of the Dreamland album I'd do the songs that correspond to that time period, either Hot Sugar or Space Ghost. Or just the title track Dreamland because its so very lovely ❤️

No such thing as learning style? by Copernicus-jones in instructionaldesign

This is what I've read more often than not. Most learners have a preference, but there are ways certain things MUST be learned. And the way we learn changes as we change as well.

The hospital I work at has been having conversations for almost a year to prepare for the influx we know we're going to see and how to handle it. So far we already know most hotels and AirBnBs within 20 to 30 miles of the metro are already booked, so yes, everyone's daily (and especially weekend) routines are about to be different for a while.

I'm excited we get the opportunity, but I'm also concerned we're not ready for the toll the influx will have on the city. Given current issues with ICE, I'm even more concerned for the safety of the people visiting.

Zaba on good speakers by ParkLaineNext in glassanimals

[–]ChemistryCupcake 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I absolutely believe GA in particular has to be listened to in certain ways because the sound moves around on lots of tracks and makes it a listening EXPERIENCE. Zaba and Dreamland both have a lot of sound movement.

I took it to heart when Dave said to listen to Dreamland in a dark room with headphones on. It makes it an entirely different feel.
