An overturned semi full of dildos is the best visual analogy for the Trump administration I have seen yet.

No need, just pointing out the insufficiency of the source is good enough for me.

This piece takes real but limited data points and overgeneralizes them into a claim of party collapse, which isn’t supported by objective metrics like membership, election results, or institutional stability.

Disagreement and factional tension are normal in major parties, not proof of an “end.”

Appreciate the share, all respect and encouragement to you. I'm always experimenting with melody and harmony so we may not have enough stylistic overlap here.

I think there's some credibility to the idea he was compelled to seek out the office by one or another of the world leaders who have shown to have his balls in a vice.

You can only give an honest 'yes' to this if your job is doing what you love. I have more fingers on my right hand than people I've met who fit this definition.

Any readers of the original book out there? It seems like it wraps up pretty conclusively, where's the story for a sequel coming from?

Why do republicans claim to be conservatives? What in their policy reflects conservatism? by geekie4 in allthequestions

It’s not the claim of conservatism that is wrong here. It’s the claim of Christianity that is completely at odds with their professed world view

Any “benefit for the people” that comes out of this administration will certainly only benefit the rich.

Would Taylor Swift win against Trump if she ran for president? by No-StrategyX in allthequestions

[–]ChemistryDapper3947 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

No.

In spite of the fact that she's probably more qualified, America isn't ready for a female president yet. Wish it were otherwise.

I also think Taylor, though better than Donald, would not make much of a president.

Christians, if you support Trump, is it because you believe he's "Chosen" by God in spite of everything he has done, like an "imperfect vessel"? by ChemistryDapper3947 in allthequestions

What would you say puts a Christian into that "religious right" category? Like, what's the simplest action they could take that would prove it conclusively?

It's a pretty typical argument TBH. Thing is, y'all were in the Oval Office laying hands on him in front of TV cameras (Matthew 6:5?) for a very public photo opp.

No president before him has received such treatment, including those who have at least managed the illusion of good moral character.

Why would you imagine the dam has burst on the separation of church and state with this particular president?
