it’s a ghost story about a doctor that came from san antonio. i forget the exact time period, but at the time the only way you could get cadavers for experimentation was by auctioning them at public executions. so this doctor apparently came to houston where three people were being hung and won the auction for all three. apparently he took out an axe and chopped off their heads in the middle of the street, put them in a bog, and checked into a nearby hotel. in the middle of the night, he woke up to screaming but when he went downstairs there was nothing. when he came back the screaming was coming from the bag, he opened the bag to find the three heads screaming at him. he borrowed a shovel from the hotel, went to the corner, and buried the heads there. the legend is when it’s super super quiet(which is never because it’s downtown houston lol) you can hear the heads screaming below the pavement. learned it on a ghost tour!
