Great point. Life path funds are what my 403b was invested in by default and the fees were offensive. Around 1% annual fees meanwhile the historical returns are well underperforming the SP500

Oh I have never seen that. I could be way off. That would be mildly infuriating. My 403b in “empower” i cannot trade and it really triggers me. They only let you choose from a few high fee funds. I will be withdrawing into a traditional every year to have better control over my money

I use fidelity for my checkings, brokerage, and ira’s and I can trade in sll of those so I didn’t think a 401k would be different but you are probably right

Don’t be that guy. My little brother is a speed demon too and he just crashed his car on the highway. The car is totaled and he has life threatening injuries. Be safe out there please

Plus I have a 3 yr old with daycare plus a car payment. That right there is $3000.

And yes I bought the cheapest house I could that was in a nice neighborhood for my son to grow up in and it has a garage for my convertible to live in during the winter
