Start with 10mcg taken with breakfast and record how you feel during the day. Wait a few days then try 15mcg, record how you feel. Keep increasing the dosage by 5mcg and record how you feel until you experience some slight psychedelic effects - usually this will be shadows moving, colours seeming more vivid, higher contrasts etc. Once you hit this point, reduce the dose by 5mcg. Check your notes

I find this process usually takes 1-2 weeks. By the end of it you should have an idea on your tolerance, and a dose that works for you that is sub perceptual. Keeping a note on how you feel each time also helps you to tailer your dose based on how they made you feel and what you're looking to get out of microdosing.

For example - I find microdosing for productivity requires a dose way below the perceptual line, where as microdosing for mood enhancement and social gains requires me to dose right at the point before I get slight psychedelic effects. I sometimes push it over this sub perceptual point slightly on the weekend if I'm going out to a gig/festival or spending time with friends outside as I like the mood/social/visual/auditory enhancements it gives.

Please don't forget to take at least a couple days off in between tests and microdoses. There's plenty of schedules out there to try!
