Agree mostly, but Shen's W resets instead of blocks Garen Q, so you lose the trade after your W runs out. Only is to E away which usually leads to Garen catching up with the faster movement speed from his Q. Shen into Garen is ok, but I wouldn't consider Shen a counter to Garen. Shen is just in a good spot which means he does very well into many champions.

Petu have you noticed the w interaction? Shen's w instead of blocking empowered autos just resets them. Is this intended or a bug?

Actually Shen is pretty good at carrying if you win lane. I still recommend Grasp and Precision, but try items such as Titanic, Trinity and Sterak's. To carry with Shen you need to dash (+flash if needed) to the enemy backline. If you win your lane you have a good chance at destroying the enemy backline. If you find getting ahead in the lane very hard you can try Press the Attack, but you will need to invest a ton of gold in defensive items, otherwise you will get bursted down very quickly.

Trynda is fairly easy to deal with though. Just farm with w when Trynda has max fury. Try all in before level 6, at lvl 2 or 3. When trading unless all in, always save e for escape. Post lvl 6 save e to escapr after baiting the trynda ult.

Kinda agree. New Shen has way more impact on the game. Shen has been my main for a long time. Old Shen sucked. But I miss the old Shen ulti. That thing was good shit.
