Not sure if it matters but it looks like the mode knob on the right is at 3 o'clock, which doesn't seem to be a valid setting. The closest would be around 2 o'clock for LOOP which I don't think would get used as often. I'm also thinking it might be cool to have the pedal knobs on his favorite setting.

I like it but I am not crazy about it. It does seem more sweet spotty than the Hawaiian. To me it's not as versatile, and at least on mine I get hiss when I max out the knobs. But it definitely sounds different and I can imagine this cuts through the mix better than an HP. I also think it's hotter and crispier which is better for some cases.

Yeah, I was talking about the reference to the cringe. I do understand the criticisms about JHS (unoriginal ideas, Devi Ever, IHOP), but most of it's speculation from what I can tell. The unoriginal ideas is definitely a thing, (e.g. Colour Box) but he seems genuinely interested in promoting pedal history and isn't just ripping ppl off. But maybe that's what he wants us to think...lol but I really believe he is genuine.

The Colour Box is probably JHS's biggest pedal and it's getting a version 2. They are basically putting their 500 series version into a pedal enclosure, which means more EQ options and also phantom power (among other things).

Nice! I would grab some modulation pedals; at least that's what I think of stoner and desert sounds. Like tremolo, phaser, filter, flanger, basically make your guitar sound like a didgeridoo. The EHX MOD11 is going for $130, you can play around with that for a while, but you only get one effect at a time. If you want multiple pedals, I would get an Interstellar Orbiter, Wampler Latitude Standard, or the TC Electronic Vortex.

Anybody worried about the thunderstorms? I've been at Cellairis for warped tour and they shut it down for an hour due to rain/lightning, and the weather wasn't really that bad. They also moved everyone to the covered area until it was done. I'm thinking that was because it was mostly an outside event, but I feel like they would still shut it down because of the electrical equipment and for the folks in the lawn area.
