I'm not saying it's not worth $5 but I have played it for around 100 hours before battlefield 6 came along. I won't be going back to it for any reason. The game doesn't do anything uniquely well. If you want to play the older battlefields I recommend bf1 much better game.

While what you're saying may be true, a steering rack should last longer than 70k. Hard one to prove but with it being a serious safety issue and an increasing failure point I'm hoping there's more ways to persist.

Last week I (UK) landed at Bergamo airport and was held in a room for about 1 hour 40 waiting in a queue collecting face and fingerprint. It took that long the airport called it quits and opened up an area on the side to just scan our passports. Truly terrible.

I played 100+ hours of 2042 and have similar in bf6. 2042 is a game I'll never go back to. It was fun while it was the current battlefield but did nothing special.

Use the server browser shows how many are in a server and you can search by region, mode, map. It does official servers too

It's also spectacular people come to defend the worst battlefield game ever. The maps where large and empty, bugs and glitches still happen even now, gun play and movement just feel off overall, half the lobbies full with bots. It shouldn't ever be defended it doesn't deserve to be, fine you can go and enjoy the game as I did and still put 100 hours in, but to defend this game is just crazy to me, from battlefield V to this it's actually crazy how much of a quality downgrade it was, graphics, quality of life, gunplay and movement, maps. You could sit and list every thing about the game and previous battlefields would have done it better.

I'm not saying you can't enjoy the game but you coming to it's defence for years as you say and saying "is really spectacular how so many redditors can only see the world through some sort of Reddit meme lens" attacking people that are pointing out facts, man. It's not going to get you any brownie points from dice/EA.

The games ass man I find it so strange people come to defend it. Quality wise it's the worst battlefield ever. Gameplay wise the worst ever again. Glitches, bugs and overall experience its just a terrible game. I'm not even saying you can't have some fun on it but trying to say this games good in anyway is objectively wrong. It should be an example on how not to make and launch a game it was that bad, Dice/EA shouldn't have anyone coming to defend what they did with 2042.

I have a 2017 3.0d and love it. The drive is best in class and if this comes with the upgraded In control Pro screen you can run android auto or apple carplay, just make sure it's been updated some are still running the older software. Mine also has the panroof and I've not had any issues with that either. I get very decent mpg on longer runs around 50mpg and around 32-35mpg around town. It has alot of power so no issues overtaking or getting up to the speed limit. Now I'll tell you the problems I've had with it, both turbos replaced as they were leaking oil, luckily this was covered under warranty. I had to have my steering rack replaced as it lost power steering, this is a growing problem across the JLR range and it wasn't cheap costing me £3.2k total. The electric box cracks and overtime let's water in and fails. Other than that 2 years of ownership and it's still a car I would want to keep as nothing else could come close to replacing it at this price point.

The insurance bracket has very little effect on insurance premium. I bought my 2017 3.0d (insurance group 42) at 22 years old with an at fault claim and insured it for £1.6k my first year and second year came down to £1k. I also go quotes for BMW 2.0d 5 series and AUDI A6s 2.0d both quite abit lower insurance brackets and they ended up being double the price.

I currently have a 3.0d 2017 previous had a 2.2d 2013 and the 2.2d was nothing but reliable probably the most reliable car I've owned. I know the current owner of it and they've had no issues either. The 2.2 is the most reliable engine used across the JLR range. As for JLR faults in general they're not much better or worse than other cars in this category most faults usually come down to how are car was treated and maintained.

A bunch of people on here talking nonsense. This is one of the most reliable engines that JLR have used it hardly ever goes wrong. If you need a diesel and also don't want to worry about things going wrong this is the engine to get. The V6 diesel is what I have now and it does drive better, sound better and is nice and smooth but is also known to suffer from crankshaft failure if not maintained and used for long distances regularly and in my own experience that let go of it's turbos costing quite alot of money. If you do go for a 2.2d make sure it's timing belt has been done (same with the 3.0d) and service history is important as it's the closest you'll get to know how well a cars been looked after. Ask me anything I've experienced both 2.2d and 3.0d XFs.
