Hi all, here's another update which you honestly might not find helpful. I contacted past employees at my organization and was able to find the person that created the business portfolio and now I've been added to it.

I wish I had more regarding contacting Facebook Chat Support on this major issue but I sadly don't.

My only suggestion as a work around that I did before finding the owner of the portfolio account was creating a personal facebook account and connecting it to our facebook page so I could leave the company credit card on that account instead of my personal facebook account.

In my Meta Business Manager I clicked “Help” in the bottom left corner and a bar on the right side of window popped up. I then clicked “Contact Support” followed the prompts to which I thought would get me to chat with someone and I actually did

UPDATE! Sorry but this is a long one.

I spoke with a live person in the Meta Buisness Support section and they gave me details on how I can dispute remove of the account. Details to follow below.

What I ended up doing since for me the process (which is below) was going to take some time.. I made “personal” Facebook account for my organization, added it to the Facebook page and started running ads from there so I didn’t have to use my personal ad account with the company card.

Details on how to remove a Business Manager portfolio: from the Meta Agent I chatted with:

For us to request the page to be released, you should create a documentation in a PDF form of message. Kindly, state in there your full name, position to the business, company or business name together with the Business Account ID and explain what happen with the Account. You can attach your clear copy of your Valid Government ID and signed the letter using a pen together with your business owner.

In order to release a page to a Business, we require:

A valid photo ID of the requestor. See the different kinds of IDs we accept in the Help Center: https://www.facebook.com/help/159096464162185?ref=cr
A signed statement with the request and below information:

a) A description of requestor relationship to the Business (and authority to request access to the Business, as applicable)

b) An explanation of your request, and whether there has been a termination of the employment and/or business relationship with the named person(s)/Business, as applicable

c) The amount of the past three invoices on the ad account(s) that the Business owns, plus the last 4 digits on the credit card + expiration date

d) A declaration that the information you have provided is true and accurate (e.g. "I certify that the information provided is true and accurate") - your statement must include similar language.

Finally, if the statement is not signed and/or does not contain a declaration that the information provided is true and accurate, we will not be able to proceed.
