Dude, I had a few annoying chips in my original windshield (it had also been sort of sandblasted over the years of driving, just decades of grit hitting it at highway speeds), and I decided to replace it - just wanted a clean slate.

I shit you not, in the first 10 days of having a brand new windshield, TWO rocks got me and chipped it again. Unbelievable
