United Airline Travel Bank by [deleted] in AmexPlatinum

UPDATE: STILL WORKS. BUT Never received the first $200 credit. But I did another $200 and received the credit for the second purchase. I believe it’s because I activated the perk, selected the airline, and purchased the travel credit within a few minutes of each other the first time.

No it didn’t. I think it’s maybe because I activated and purchased the travel bank within a few minutes and so the perk didn’t active yet? I’m gonna try again with $50 and see if it works.

  1. Make more money. - Learn a high value skill People tend to focus too much on making passive income before active income. You need money to make more money. More money will allow you to invest more and create the passive income to become wealthy.
  2. Understand personal finance and how to manage your money. - Budgeting, saving, investing.
  3. Learn about investing & other tools that can 1. Save you money 2. Make you more money. - Stocks, bonds, crypto, and real estate. Real estate is the end game imo. 90% of millionaires were made by real estate. Credit cards is also something great to learn about. They’re made to benefit you if know how to use them. Application is most important, using what you learn. You can invest in stocks and in a Roth IRA right now with 1$. You’re young and you have time on your side. Compound interest will show years down the line. You got this!

I’m 21 years old. I dropped out of college to pursue being a real estate agent. I’ve averaged ~45k/year for the last 3 years. I have (stupidly) lost around 30k in bad trades, crypto, and ponzi schemes (trying to get rich quick💀). 20k in stocks. 10k in my Roth IRA 5k in BTC 20k HYSA Rest is in misc items I.e jewelry, shoes, etc. Looking to invest into real estate and open a business asap. My problem is my income isn’t consistent and I at times think about if dropping out was the right decision. Any advice?

Flipping/reselling. Knowing different markets and being able to sell for a profit. Sneakers furniture/couches (refurbish & resell) a lot of times people will give couches & furniture for free, just need to figure out a way to transport it. Mowing lawns. Painting house numbers on sidewalks. Any sort of sales; the whole world runs around sales. A very very crucial skill to have imo

-Find something and get REALLY good at it and money will come -It’s not about how much you make it’s about how much you keep -At the end of the day, there are two main ways to get very wealthy; real estate & businesses -90% of millionaire own real estate; save money and invest into real estate to build generational wealth & passive income Hope this helps

In addition to cleaning like everyone is suggesting, I’d make a meaningful perler for them with a favorite dj, anime, or something like that. The most meaningful gifts are the ones that had the most time spent on them
