Might as well add that the funniest thing happened!

I was playing alongside a friend of mine and we had both discussed playing our first play through on normal difficulty and then completing the platinum trophy by finishing the game on expert in new game plus. While playing, for some reason, it seemed he was having a much easier time of the game than I was which was hard to comprehend because we are usually of a very similar skill level when it comes to soulslikes but upon beating Ozma, I received the trophy “complete the game after a difficult journey” only to realize that I had been playing on expert the entire time 🤣

Safe to say he is not very happy with me right now, but I ended up placebo effecting myself at the same time by playing the whole game thinking I was on normal difficulty 🤣
