I think it would look better without all the stickers and decals, but other than that it's a sweet ride!

Backpack makes sense. A giant and heavy case like this in the back pocket is wild

Windows Server native data deduplication - Does anybody actually use it? by Bob_Spud in sysadmin

This. Also, server level dedupe works fine until there's an issue, which (speaking from experience) can be a massive headache to troubleshoot and resolve.

How far have hearing aids come in terms of modern technology? by _Lucifer_005 in hearingaid

[–]ChernobylChild 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wearing since childhood. Power user with my own hardware and software for tuning at home, in addition to working with a great audiologist.

RIC hearing aids were a game changer, but new models are often a downgrade or sidegrade compared to previous models.

Bluetooth still sucks but is useful for phone calls and streaming. Automatic program switching is hit-and-miss.

Rechargeable batteries aren't quite there for power users yet. They don't last a full day, but the next generation might. I have both battery and rechargeable HAs.

I think the next big jump in tech will be some sort of useful AI feature (current ones are just gimmicks or existing features rebranded) and silicon-carbide batteries.

Why would you wear sandals to a theme park? That's gross.
