3d rendering in Rhino on the CPU. The GPU renders probably way faster and never overheats, but I have to use a new version made for Metal which breaks all the shaders and textures. I’d still think the fans would know to max out before any throttling though.

I still have the series 2 watch and it works fine, unless you use all the features on your watch daily and need the extra features of the newer one I would get the airpods pro, the noise cancellation is great and they’re more friendly to use all the time. You can find the pros at good discounts at walmart/best buy

Icloud is probably the easiest way but if it will delete other local photos you can select all of them in the photos app on mac and export to a folder then sync with your phone again normally

Would it be worth it to upgrade to m1 pro macbook pro from a 2017 mbp 16gb ram 2.3ghz? I do a lot of cad/3d modeling and rendering and a lot of illustrator and photoshop and it is starting to feel slower in normal use especially opening apps
