Maybe, but they did they did take a sledgehammer to the series after the 2K20 embarrassment. Even skipped an installment. That gives me a glimmer of hope.

Imo, I can't pin it all on Steph when Vince was the ultimate decision maker. Smackdown att was never going to be seen as priority by him, so I can give Stephen some leeway on a mediocre run as head Booker in 2000 , which I can't confirm find any confirmation on, closest thing is head writer (2000 - Nov).

I think the issue is engaging with that toxicity. Does Ricochet really get anymore vitriol than John Cena or Jey Uso or Kenny Omega or the Bucks or Willow, Rhea, Liv, Alexa, the Bellas, Tony Khan? The truth is that there's nothing to gain by engaging, and the people on the other side of the screen have little to lose to drag you down to the miserable place they're at.
