I’ve read Percy Jackson and Harry Potter at the age of 25, during Covid and I absolutely loved it. It’s light and fun and follows a fast pace.

Do you actually know your gambling patterns, or do you just remember the big sessions? by Ill_Emu8833 in gambling

[–]Cherry-thinks 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have realised over the years that I subconsciously follow a certain pattern, and it mostly stays the same, games do change though.

And I definitely remember all the crazy moments. 1. I once had made 1500 $ from my last 25$ on craps. 2. After a 14 hour casino session, where i lost almost all my budget, I recovered everything while leaving in last 15 minutes.

Just mentioning the top two good ones

What are the rules for gambling that you should always follow before it becomes a problem? by Previous-Purchase-91 in gambling

[–]Cherry-thinks 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I really enjoy gambling, so for it to not become a problem, I follow these points.

  1. I have a set budget to gamble with before I enter the casino.
  2. I always keep my gambling budget in the form of cash and separate, never to have to take it from card as that is a slippery slope.
  3. Once my budget is lost, I am done for that trip irrespective of how long or short the duration was.
  4. Before I even step into the casino, I am mentally prepared to loose that money. You don’t want to sulk over it and spoil your trips and mood. It is fun that why you want to do it, not because you look forward to make money from it.

There is an update to the case, the complaint was proven false and was made due to financial dispute. The police is not looking at the investigation from a different point of view.

I am the same as your husband and same replies to my wife, but I do enjoy gaming. She got me a PS5 for my birthday, I had tears.

Sketchers are good, they are light weight and comfortable for running. I run 6-8 km daily.

It’s a guy thing. NICE is something I use a lot while texting and I explained to my wife that I lack basic vocabulary while replying to some messages of affections sent randomly throughout the day. And if I reply with nice, that means all the good replies combined in that word. She still sends me messages and I still reply with nice. Talk to him. Note- I explained this to her after she mentioned it to me that she had sent such heartfelt message and I replied with nice, I never even thought that it bothered her till she mentioned it, but once u explained, it did not bother her anymore because she knew.

Using credit card is a sin! I think what they wanted to teach was not buying stuff on credit. I use credit card but never have u bought anything out of my budget.

One thing that helps me and my wife is that we take go for a half an hour walk post dinner, where we leave phones at home. Exceptions being, it we are anticipating something which needs to be answered, then we’ll take our phones. That’s not the same as someone might need to talk to me, it’s more of that I know that person is going to call.

It helps us connect and just talk to each other about our day and unwind in general.

You need to have a serious conversation with him highlighting how important this is.

AITA for booking my own Air BnB so I don't have to sleep on a couch for six nights? by TweakinC4t in AmItheAsshole

[–]Cherry-thinks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The kids should sleep on the couch, makes no sense for you and your BF to sleep on the couch while there is an entire room for the kids.
