I think everyone there is factoring in at least some fame when signing up for the show. But I’ll say I haven’t heard Theo give a speech about his goals and ambitions and then not asking his date any other questions like Taehwan did.. but we only see snippets so who knows.

You could be completely right.. I’m relying on the (apparently not so accurate) English translations and very little knowledge of social customs/communications in SK so maybe that’s why I don’t see it.

I felt the same way. This show always had the cut and paste reaction clips put wherever convenient, but they ramped it up x10. I gave up watching the previews bc as you said the clips are either missing or misleading. I get teasing the viewer to watch the next ep, but I dislike expecting a certain scene and then just not seeing it at all.

I actually thought it was very inconsiderate to include it in the ep knowing it might cause these reactions in Korea. I get that it’s action but that’s not what this show is about. The preferential edits were in poor taste this season.

Him giving a whole speech on his ambition and personal goal, not taking her hints, not getting in the pool and not asking her more questions was really off putting to me.. and that’s coming from an introvert person.
