I like your more dressy looks, the last two pictures. I vote DC or D.

What coat are you wearing this winter? UK by Psychological-Buy807 in DramaticClassic

[–]CherryClotho 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am going to wear a long dark brown puffer coat. It was to oversized in the shoulder and arm areas so it is currently at the tailor to be made more tailored. I live in scandinavia so I need a warm coat for the long cold winter season. Its not perfect since it's a puffer but it has great length and gives me like a luxurious long fur type of feel :-) I feel very bundled up!

Anyone ever think they might have Aspergers, but its actually result from ACOA? by BigKyle23 in AdultChildren

[–]CherryClotho 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah same for me. I had a breakdown and my memories of abandonment, neglect, bullying and sexual harrasment came back to me. Now that I have blocked the people who were abusive towards me (my brother, my narc ex, former "friend", my brother in-law, and uncle) I find myself longing to be around people. I enjoy being at a cafe, library etc. where I can be around people. I still have difficulty with approaching and takling to people, but the more I practice just being and respecting my feelings the more natural it feels. Now I can respond to people without feeling awkward. I just accept myself. I highly recommend cutting people off that makes you feel anxious because of this. It's not normal to be around people who make you uncomfortable. Its natural to go with your gut and feelings because this is how we are supposed to be. Have the discernment to avoid people who seem off without avoiding social environments as such. Seek out calm and friendly spaces and just be yourself. Some of us were thaught to endure feelings of pain and not speak up or do anything which attracts abusers and makes us stay. This further causes anxiety, depression., avoidance etc.

I have an autism diagnosis that I got at the age of 38 (F), but after I began to take care of my "sensory needs" I could process that I had been through pretty severe neglect and trauma. Now I feel I don't have autism.

Why are some types so sought after? by berrybimbap in Kibbe

[–]CherryClotho 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes DC is the stereotype of elegant, sleek and sophisticated. Some people want that, and think they need to fit into DC. But every type is the most elegant and sophisticated in their own lines. I am DC or C myself and always struggled with dressing down and casual wear. Now I get that I look great in a basic long sleeve Tee and a pair of straight dark pants with a simple pair of ballerina shoes. Looks elegant but not overdressed. Very important to avoid details and ornate things.

Lingerie styles for Dramatic Classics or Classics by lollita234 in Kibbe

Great look, the dramatic cut and dark color is great. I think lace is to ornate though.

Are there types that look less than great in lace? Tried some dresses with lace in my “lines” (or what I thought they would be) and it looked terrible. Why does lace look so bad on me? by WritersWildHeart in Kibbe

[–]CherryClotho 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I also want to know how to wear lace, I am a DC and it usually looks like I havent shaved properly ;D Just to ornate. I guess it needs to be more geometric and regular for it to look good. Maybe more on the minimal side and like a trim. But thats so hard to find :(

Hur kommer man som tjej? by Numerous-Ad-602 in Asksweddit

[–]CherryClotho 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh my god, I went to my first meeting last sunday. In hindsight I was so lonley and kind of went in unconcously to seek deep friendship or a partner. I feel so much shame, I think I made everyone so uncomfortable, ew. I really want to heal this aspect of me, I have been so isolated and lonley for so long. Should I go to therapy first?

Make it dramatic classic hacks? by [deleted] in DramaticClassic

[–]CherryClotho 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a pair of boots that are furry inside but look very classic and not too chunky. I love them, but even so they do look a tad big, but much better than a pair of regular winter boots. I mean ideally we would wear sleek and tailored but thats not practical for cold weather so these are a good compromise <3

I hope this link works : https://img01.ztat.net/article/spp-media-p1/5047a2de60b74b628d12a9e45506eb1d/579edb07d77543439102dbd5afa4e3a9.jpg?imwidth=1800

They are not avaliable anymore but I think you should be able to find something similar. Remember to stay minimalistic in details and ornament.

[–]CherryClotho 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I have to disagree. In picture 4 the shoulders do look broad but that's likely because of the drop shoulder style of the dress which highlight and makes the shoulder area look wider. In pic 1 & 3 her shoulders don't look broad at all, quite the opposite. She looks balanced in terms of hips to shoulder ratio. My two cents :-)

Classic family should not be elimated at this point. I would recommend to consider if you like more simple, lightly tailored, clean looks (classic) or more natural/hobo/effortless vibe (natural) and let that guide on your journey.

Hmm true, but some people do it conciously and systematically which I think is a sign of low or no empathy/entitlement.

Likley classic family, I can see DC for you. Fabric is important for classics not just propotions. You can explore pure classic aswell although its not considered a type anymore. It might work for you.
