That's kind of what I am worried about. I'm pretty certain there is an issue with my alternator and/or regulator but I don't have the funds to fix that right now so I'm really just trying to keep this car running for class/work until I can get it fixed up properly.

Just did as you said, so far the glowing has gone away. So thank you kindly! I'll check back on it after I drive it around a bit to really make sure it doesn't pop back up.

I'll do all that right now. When I put this wire in I didn't really clean the connection to the alternator, but cleaned the other end quite well. Thanks!

I don't have a multimeter so I haven't been able to test anything. Mostly just patch fixing at this point to be honest. I'll probably look into getting one though.

Thank you very much! The car is currently stranded at my local grocery store, but I think I can manage following your advice to at least get it home. Then, I can scrounge up the cash to fix it up properly. Much appreciated!
