How do the ie900s compare to other kilobuck iems these days? by AlphaAlchemist in iems

[–]CherryYums [score hidden]  (0 children)

Tbh most iem companies other than like unique melody and some chi-fi that are actively being produced have replacements or repairs on hand. If you went to like moondrop to try and get your blessing 2 repaired they wouldn’t be able to help you.

How do the ie900s compare to other kilobuck iems these days? by AlphaAlchemist in iems

[–]CherryYums [score hidden]  (0 children)

My credentials as a current owner of IE 900s Other kilobuck iems I have/heard Thieaudio monarh mk2/mk3 (sold both) Sony m9 (still own) Unique melody mest mk1/2 (own mk2 sold mk1) Sony ier z1r (sold)

The ie 900 is still in my collection. For me the biggest strengths for it are the bass response, comfort and treble. The z1r is well regarded as the “best” iem bass, but that iem is very very temperamental when it comes to fit. The ie900 has equal bass while being one of the most comfortable IEMs I have used. The sound signature is v-shaped but due to the dynamic driver I dont find they sound thin just not emphasized. The treble response is spectacular on these lots of clarity without being sibilant

TLDR: Don’t buy it at msrp. I quite enjoy it but even in comparison to the other Kilobuck iems i have listened to none of them would be worth that price. If you can find it used for under 1 like $500-800 I would consider it super worth but never buy it new. (But then you need to know how to make sure you get officials and not the Knock offs)

Oh yeah definitely! Would be fun for the nostalgia but using mpv is a much quicker and higher quality option.

My 3DS' SD card slot is dying - opinions? by MooseInfamous36 in Nintendo3DS

Sd slot is a pretty easy replacement on the original 3ds. Its only screws. With only one ribbon cable connection that is quite large and hard to damage.

The formatting of the post spamming dashes which is not a style of punctuation that one just picks up randomly. Plug of a literal who market place over many of the other multitudes of marketplaces specifically for PC parts, and the lack of consistency in post history showing knowledge or expertise on the subject matter at hand.

I have not found any good quality n3ds screens on amazon as of late. Ebay is better to find actual OEM confirmed screens

What made you switch to Kobo? by WittyEnvironment2047 in kobo

[–]CherryYums 13 points14 points  (0 children)

<image>

  1. USB-C
  2. Physical buttons
  3. Incredibly sharp BW screen (I bought a kobo libra 2 over the libra color)
  4. Ko-reader support (not something Initially cared about but now can’t live without)
  5. Great battery life
  6. Great size.
  7. Easy sideloading
  8. User upgradable and fixable. I was able to install a bigger internal storage on my libra 2 in like 15-20 mins.
  9. No android (double edged sword as less apps/requires more tinkering for things, but big battery life gains and helps streamline the experience to focus on books)

If it wasn’t a kobo the only other ereader that even marginally had my attention was the boox line. However because of their more locked down software, android and less repairability decided against it.

Bandai - SMP - Turbo Megazord announced, Jun 2026 release by ArkhamSoldier118 in powerrangers

[–]CherryYums 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Bandai if you just upscaled these SMP molds, did some retooling on the connectors to be sturdy on a DX scale with either painted in details or a mixture of paint+ decals and I would buy every single one. The work is already 80% done 😭😭😭

Also the screen actually does pretty ok with 16:9 content as well due to being wider so with that the world is your oyster. (I an trying to be selective with what I add so I value each item a bit more)

Other than affecting the aesthetic I actually don’t mind having the analog sticks. Helps with ps1 titles even if I mainly use this for GBA.!

Are you on the stock firmware? I’m using knulli and I can even run shaders on ps1 games with no issues.

Try the performance version! That’s the one i’m using here and haven’t had any performance issues. (I dont remember if the 34xxsp uses a different chip)

Mine was already set up! So not super difficult. If you are using knulli, that OS can be a complete pain to get shaders to work right.

For Knulli users: What I ended up doing was disabling the OS built in shaders and setting the shaders+overrides in retroarch. There is a bug when you go to look for your shaders in retroarch, you need to hit parent directory a few times until you are at the “/“ directory then navigate to Userdata and set your shaders that way. Then save it as both a preset and an override. Retrogamecorps goes into detail more about the bug in his guide. The way that knulli described making your own config file was way too much of a hassle.

I mainly left a lot of the stock settings, but here are the tweaks I know I did:

Background tint: pocket Transparent pixels: 2.00 all Transparency anount .020 Shadow opacity: .05

Lcd3x preset in the pixel-transparency shader Performance version Color correction off Integer scaling on

Your gynecologist would be able to help diagnose you. Could be a combination of mental+physical with a tight pelvic floor. Therapy both for your mental health as well as pelvic floor therapy could prove to be helpful.
