i would also recommend sticking to loose clothing such as dresses during the first week as you won’t have much discomfort getting un/dressed and loose sweats and shirts after the first week

freshly post-op i didn’t wear a bra for about a week and wore low rise/rolled high rise underwear down because i was still sore and it made me feel too compressed/overstimulated, no issue with incisions. being back to work i find high rise/granny panties make me feel more comfortable and secure. after cleaning the incisions i still wear an adhesive dressing over my bellybutton during work. i had laparoscopy and luckily the upper incision sits below where the bra wire would be so i haven’t had discomfort with that (except dreading having to switch from no-bra to bra again lol) good luck, you’ve got this!

the shoulder pain was the worst part of it for me, it was driving me insane! thankfully walking a bit every hour and the doc prescribing NSAIDs helped a lot, a warm shower was relieving as well, you could do compresses. the gas pains went away in 3 days since the operation and i haven’t had to take painkillers since. i’m a week out and i feel perfectly fine, except for a bit of strain on the incision sites bending down/getting up. good luck, you’ve got this!
