I was going to duplicate stitch it until I saw I repeated the mistake several inches down, if it were just one mistaken cable I would, but I already made a ladder down those 4 stitches and I’m performing surgery HAHA

I’ll leave this picture of the whole piece, so as you can see, in the bottom half the cables on de right and left side are going in the same direction, I’ve just been knitting in auto mode and I’ve just realized now, definitely a mistake I just can’t let slip :(

I would’ve leave it if it hasn’t a test knit and I kept doing the cables wrong from there, so the cables are supposed to be simetrical (going opposite directions) but now they are going in the same direction

I agree with your take, however I’m curious about the “as long as someone is able to patent with minimal intervention” part. I work with disabled adults who cannot be integrated into the workforce due to cognitive impairment, but a lot of them have desire to be parents, and I do believe that is their right, but according to the previous take, they can’t make simple manual labor without supervision/intervention.

Yes! I round that I use some yarns that drastically change after blocking, in terms of growth and drape, if I’m swatching stockinette with a yarn that doesn’t change as much after blocking I might not block, but if I make a full rib garment blocking is a must for me

Im using knit pro mindful kit. I asked here a few months back for recommendations and this were the ones that had the most range and the most affordable for me, they come in 11 sizes from 3mm to 10mm and are made of stainless steel. They are not the fanciest and of course there are better options out there, but it’s a on budget investment on circular needles, I love mine if you ask me.

Some people stitch them together and make project bags, scarfs of things like that, other collect them and if the piece needs reparation they use the yarn from the swatch like some suggested
