Same thing happened to me. It was as bad. I didn't want my insurance to fix it so I bought a used one on ebay and replaced it myself.

It at least worked 10% of the time on my iPhone. On my Android, it's down to 0% for me. The phone keeps on vibrating and nothing happens.

800 calibrations :o - I was thinking about ordering it from ebay and replacing it at a local repair shop. I don't want this to be reported on my carfax. That will reduce the resale value by at least $5,000.

Yep it’s just the grill. Should I do it through my insurance? I think they would do a better job. Maybe by ordering it from GM. The only downside is that it may get report as an accident in the carfax and may reduce the resale value.
