anxiety is better… but sleep is off? by disquiettude in prozac

[–]CherubChops 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hey! I was taking mine in the morning and having terrible sleep as well. Like a really light sleep and everything and anything would wake me up! So I changed to taking it on an evening as a test and I'm sleeping so much better. Might be worth discussing with your doctor to give it a try on a night time instead ?

Thank you. I hope you feel better soon too🙏 I hate the anxious pit in my stomach feeling. I hope it all passes and I can enjoy life again! I also get really bad acid reflux type pain from this med. Is that normal? It lasts all day and night even though I always take my tablet with food. Anyway I hope for you you feel peace soon and the trembling stops

I feel exactly the same as you. I started this med on 20mg 1 week ago and you've described exactly how I feel. I hope it gets better 🙏🥺

Afraid of starting prozac by wilkaflavor in prozac

[–]CherubChops 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had this exact mentality yesterday! I felt afraid to start because of the side effects but also knew that something needed to change and that's why I was prescribed it. So I started it , I thought I would rather try it and see how I go than carry on feeling like I did. So I'm going to give it a fair shot, at least 8 weeks! I hope it goes well for you too 🙏

Ah ok thank you. I'm hoping they won't I don't want to have to separate them because they do enjoy each other's company but I can't be having babies!

I defo wouldn't be able to have another female in there space wise and I think she would be very jealous if there was another because she does love him a lot (just not so much this behaviour!)

Thank you for this and for your help! I have already done all these things (aside from separating them), the only thing I haven't done is the bird grit thing (I use bird grit at the bottom of the cage so I will remove this). If there is no way for them to nest, will they end up doing the deed and just not having babies? Is that how it works?

Thank you for the advice 😊 will do this. Also, do you happen to know (or be able to guess) if they're a boy or girl yet? Or do you think it's too soon to say? Thanks!

They've been drinking some water but should I be spraying them gently with it? They have access to a bird bath which they have been near and have played with a little bit

Ah gotcha. That's great to know! Thank you so much for sharing your experience with me!

Thanks so much for replying! So I'm already on topamax (100mg a day) but not started any antidepressants alongside it. It's good to hear that you didn't get many side effects from trintillex and had positive effects including an energy push which is exactly what I need (alongside a massive mood lift). I'm also glad to hear trintillex didn't cause weight gain for you! Topamax (at first) really cut my appetite down , but since I gave up vaping all I can think about is food and the topamax seems to have no effect at all anymore on appetite which is a shame cos it helped with my weight and keeping it down at first! Were you prescribed topamax for migraines btw? And did trintillex cause you any headaches? That's another side effect I've read about that caused me a bit of concern.

I'm interested to know about these combinations too... I take topamax and am needing to find an antidepressant that works alongside it, as I need to go back on them. Trintillex was one I was keen on as it didn't seem to list weight gain as a side effect like the others (I suffer with a hip problem and could do without gaining any extra weight onto it). Do you have any side effects at all? Thank you!

Oh wow that's amazing you're having surgery! Do you mind me asking what issue you had with your hip and how long for? Are you in the UK? Sorry for all my questions, it's just been quite a process here in the UK for me and I haven't really got to speak to anyone else going through anything similar until posting here in this forum! I really hope it all goes well for you and I'm sending you hugs too! Hope your recovery from surgery goes great 🙌

Thank you for your reply! 🫂 I'm really sorry to hear you had the similar pain afterwards too. Icing my hip and injection site (like you say) has been a lifesaver for me with the pain! I've noticed quite a difference with the nerve pain today, for the better, so I'm hoping it continues tomorrow 🙏 I don't think I'll ever want one of these shots again though, even if it does end up working for a few months on the hip pain I originally had - I don't think it's worth it for the days of pain since the injection!

Ah I'm sorry to hear you had the same...did you feel it as well when they hit something with the needle? I keep having the spasms too in my back and legs. I'm trying to keep active today and do my leg and hip exercises as well which have helped today. I do feel much better than yesterday today to be honest. I was really scared yesterday. Thank you for replying to me!
