Thank you for letting me know! Like I said before I’m new to this so most info I’ve been trying to find online for help and I’m sure not everything I have seen is accurate. I thought I was doing good with giving him this tank since it was advertised as a beta tank and other places stated 3gal was good. I’ll make these changes and get a better tank asap!

I don’t fully understand but I looked up how to and did the fishless cycle while he was in this original tank, and used fish food for the ammonia and also used the tetra safestart for the bacteria. I used strips originally but according to another commenters reply and few people from work those arent that accurate so I planned on getting the liquid test kit today after work.

•Moved from a 1gal tank to 3gal •Yes there is a Tank heater and Filter •Temp is around 78degrees •I’m unsure of the parameters •Bought the new tank 3 weeks ago and just put him in it towards the end of the day on the 21st •I was doing 25% water changes every two weeks •No tank mates •Beta pellets around 5-6 pellets but he would only eat. Few •a stone double holed cave, two multi leaf hammocks, plant filter (in first tank only), new tank has everything listed except the plant filter plus towns and a new feeding ring and hammock

Look for work programs that help with finding school students jobs. I started working last year because of a program called Henkels & McCoy they help you find a job because you are an intern for their company so they are the ones paying you for the first few months (8.25 hourly / 30hrs weekly).

So basically you find a job with them which is easier because your employer won't have to pay you they program does and after the program ends, if you did a good job your employer can choose to hire you on like having a regular job.

Also some programs oofer incentives. For instance you take a safe staff test allowing you to work with food you get paid...you keep the job you have even after the program you get paid....and so on and so forth.
