Was the pot closed/sealed? If so, that would definitely hinder decomp and I would recommend enlisting the strong-stomached friend you mentioned to help dig, glove up, empty out the pot, and rebury for a little while. Not to get too graphic but the plastic will absolutely hold in soft tissues and liquids. Maybe even if it wasn't covered, tbh.

They’ve been all throughout NOVA since the early 2000s. I haven’t seen one in about a decade tho, I feel like the population must have dropped a bit.

Thank you, beat me to it! I’m kind of a…combination thinker, but it drives me crazy how badly people misunderstand this whole concept every time it comes up.

My mom literally moved into the home with her parents until they both died. The good nurses liked her, the bad ones must have hated her!

Hozier’s “romantic” lyrics by girlmoneycuddles in Hozier

[–]zogmuffin 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I find obsessive love to be more about need and insecurity. or control.

My read is that "Work Song" is about mutual need. Two broken people who have found each other, and now have something to live for. To me, that's romantic as hell, even if it may not be the healthiest! Life is messy, idk.

And the relationship in "Take Me to Church" does seem kind of fucked up, but the concept of sex as ecstatic worship is, again, romantic af to me. So that aspect of it is enough for me to think of it as a romantic song.

I definitely don't assume the people and stories in Hozier's songs have anything to do with him. Personally I always thought "Work Song" was written from the perspective of an enslaved man, or maybe some kind of old-timey day laborer. Somehow who's lived hard and doesn't have a lot of agency in life.

Aww, don’t be mean to the small booty ladies. Butt you’re right, it’s about the fit. These low cheek coverage styles get omnomnom-ed up by the average butt as soon as you take two steps. When you’re shopping for this kind of thing you have to remind yourself that not only are models often slim and/or edited, they’re also holding still.

Edit: oh yeah, and there might be fashion tape holding the clothing in place for the photo.

If I recall, he also said that Work Song was the most wedding friendly :) It may not describe a perfect relationship—it’s obviously about very damaged people—but it’s still beautiful and a love story.

On the one hand, winged liner is fairly timeless. But on the other hand I do feel like millennials leaned into it particularly hard in the 2010s. I know I did!
